Building Men, Raising Sons
Join 2000 men and boys at Texas's largest campout. With international leaders teaching on principles of manhood, intense competition, and great memories that last forever, you will never be the same.
Our men today are lost, looking for purpose, identity and strength. At one time in our society being a father and a leader was admirable. Being a man meant providing, protecting, teaching, and giving direction to your family. Sacrifice was a common trait. Strength meant standing up for what’s right no matter the cost. Courage was protecting the weak; and fighting for justice and honor was a way of life. As the male figure has been emasculated over time, we see the results manifesting in the social ills that are now common place in our nation. Skyrocketing incarceration rates, violence, division, massive drug addiction, divorce, and most of all FATHERLESSNESS.
Intense Men was created to be a catalyst by equipping and encouraging men to take their place as leaders, fathers, husbands, and sons. Our purpose is to gather men and equip them to lead in their homes, jobs, and communities. We provide an atmosphere where men can compete, teach, learn, bond, and simply be men. You come as you are but leave forever changed. Started in 2010 by Pastor G.F. Watkins, Intense Men has grown from 700 men in 2010 to 1,600 in 2016. We are expecting over 2,000 men this year. Speakers come from around the world sharing practical wisdom and real-life experience on topics like marriage, fathering, being fearless in the face of adversity, money, finding your place, and leaving a legacy greater than you. All these appeal to the heart of men. Join us for three days of camping, competition, and intense sessions as we continue to “Build Men and Raise Sons”. Bring your fathers, your brothers, your sons, your churches, your co-workers to Intense Men, where men become leaders, boys become men, and our impact changes the world.
